What is it?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese treatment involving the insertion of acupuncture needles to help pain, imbalances or disease. Traditional Chinese acupuncture practitioners theorise that when certain points of the body were massaged, punctured or heated, they relieved pain and restored the energy, or “Chi”, in the body.
