What is Morton’s Neuroma?

A Neuroma refers to the thickening of the nerve tissue. This can feel quite ‘lumpish’ and can become very irritated and inflamed, causing pain. Morton’s Neuroma typically affects the nerve between the 3rd and 4th toes in the ball of your foot but can occur between any of the toes. There are many ways to test if you have Morton’s Neuroma and we can do this in our clinic at Stirling Central Podiatry.
