Osgood-Schlatters Disease

Osgood-Schlatters Disease refers to an overuse injury to the knee. It most commonly affects young boys and athletes participating in sports that involve kicking, jumping and squatting. Patients typically present localised pain and swelling to the knee, which is worsened when forced to extend the knee with resistance applied.

Any pain or difficulty with your child’s knee(s) should be evaluated by one of our podiatrists at Stirling Central Podiatry.
